Director General
Kunle Yusuff, MON, is a seasoned negotiator and social development expert with a background in civil society. His government experience includes roles such as Personal Assistant to the Acting Chief of Staff under President Yar’Adua in 2009, and various positions in the Federal Capital Territory and State House Villa between 2008 and 2024.
Notable Positions:
– Governing Board Commissioner: Represented the South West region at the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) from 2013 to 2016
– Senior Special Adviser : Served Oyo State on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from 2019 to 2023.
– Director General : Civil Society Organization on Community Advancement and Humanitarian Empowerment Initiative (CSCHEI). In 2024, CSCHEI established partnerships with prominent organizations, including the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), AI-Grant USA, and the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Nigeria. These collaborations focus on enhancing technical capabilities, training, and interventions, driving sustainable development and capacity building in key areas.
– Executive Vice-Chairman : Merited Negotiating Consulting Firm. Merited was appointed by Liberty University’s CEO Summit in Virginia, USA, to coordinate the participation of top industry leaders and CEOs from Nigeria and Africa in the 2024 summit. The event, themed ‘Networking the Nations,’ brings together global business leaders, government officials, and innovators to share insights and build relationships. Held from September 23-25, 2024, at Liberty University, the summit focuses on topics like technology, finance, healthcare, and global market access, providing opportunities for meaningful connections and collaborations.
Kunle Yusuff serves as Chairman of Concerned Initiatives for Community and Social Development (CICSD), a registered and accredited NGO dedicated to driving community and social development initiatives.
He was recently appointed as a leading consultant by the National Assembly’s House of Representatives Committee on Nigeria-China Parliamentary Relations to drive the Nigeria-China Relations Summit. He’s also driving efforts to secure AI Grants for SDGs, Climate Change, and Green environment financing in Nigeria through CSCHEI. Kunle Yusuff is a key organizer of the annual UNGA Side Event, a high-level global forum focused on sustainable investments, bilateral trade, and grant initiatives.
This event is held in collaboration with the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, highlighting his efforts to drive global partnerships and development in Nigeria. His organization, Civil Society Organization on Community Advancement and Humanitarian Empowerment Initiative (CSCHEI), has also partnered with UN agencies to accelerate Sustainable Development Goals and address challenges faced by NGOs and FBOs. He is happily married.
Sarah Pane has a distinguished career as both an educator and administrator.
With a tenure spanning over two decades (1977-2003), Mrs. Pane served the governments of Bauchi and Gombe State with commendable dedication.
In the education sector, Mrs. Pane transitioned roles from a classroom teacher, vice principal, and principal, ultimately leading to her appointment as a Director General in the Ministry of Education in 1992.
In her capacity as an administrator, Mrs. Pane was appointed and assigned as the Director-General/Permanent Secretary to various state ministries including Education, Health, Finance, Commerce, Industry and Tourism, and Information.
Following her retirement from the civil service, she transitioned to politics. In 2011, she was appointed as a Special Adviser to the President on Social Development, a position she held for four years.
Ambassador Prince Chukwuemeka Israel Mgbemere is a scholar and founder of the Center for Grassroot Development and Crime Prevention (CGDCP), a civil society organization that promotes participatory democracy, good governance, human rights, crime prevention, community development, gender equality, and human capacity building in Nigeria.
He has collaborated with various agencies and organizations on election monitoring, voter enlightenment and education, disaster management, drug abuse workshops, and counter-terrorism learning. Mgbemere has received numerous awards for his work as a peace ambassador and defender of the defenseless.
He is from the Mbaoma autonomous community in Owerri North LGA Imo state and is married with children.
